- PROPERTY & LIABILITY INSURANCE. Protect your schools and reduce your costs by participating in this ISBA endorsed program. 114 school districts and charter schools across Idaho receive great benefits from this program, including comprehensive general liability insurance, protection against employment claims, educational malpractice claims, errors and omissions, training in school safety, and more.
- BOARD TRAINING. ISBA's Board Trainers offer several training modules that can assist charter schools. Contact ISBA's Board Trainer, Liz Killpack, for further details. Liz can be reached at (208) 589-4037 or liz(at)idsba.org.
- ISBA EVENTS. ISBA events including the ISBA Annual Convention provide valuable professional development opportunities for charter school board members and administrators.
- POLICY SERVICES - POLICY UPDATE SERVICE. A primary ISBA function is to support and improve policy making by Idaho schools and boards. The policy services staff provide reliable, authoritative policy assistance and information to help charter school boards draft and maintain policies. Many of Idaho's charter schools are members of the Policy Update Service and receive quarterly updates to assist them in keeping their policy manuals detailed and current! - POLICY SERVICES - CHARTER SCHOOL MODEL POLICY MANUAL. ISBA has compiled a Charter School Model Policy Manual which is available to Charter School affiliate members. Many of Idaho's charter schools have purchased the ISBA Model Policy Manual. If you would like more information on the benefits of this Manual, please contact ISBA.
