Student Essay Contest

ISBA is proud to showcase Idaho students during our Annual Convention. Inviting students to participate in our Student Essay Contest helps remind us why over 800 board members volunteer to serve the children of their
communities.

The purpose of this contest is to give high school students (grades 9 – 12) an opportunity to express creative ideas and concepts, conduct research, think critically, practice public speaking skills, and subsequently receive recognition for doing so. Also, it is an opportunity for our conference attendees (over 550 school board members, superintendents, and staff) to see and hear from young people from Idaho schools.
