Workshop Description:

Attendees will hear welcome remarks and brief updates from Idaho constitutional officers, legislative leadership, and other key lawmakers , offering insight into their current priorities and perspectives impacting public education. This session provides a valuable opportunity to hear directly from state leaders and set the stage for the day’s legislative discussions and activities.

Workshop Description:

This workshop focuses on the school board’s role of establishing and monitoring measurable goals for K-3 Literacy. The training meets the requirements for Idaho code 33-1809, which requires all newly elected or appointed school board members to participate in at least one board member orientation on these topics.
