Position:  Principal – Sandpoint High School

District:  Lake Pend Oreille School District #84

Summary:  In the role of Principal for Sandpoint High School, you will have the opportunity to directly impact 1,000 students and their families each year, while offering leadership and support to approximately 100 staff members. SHS’s Mission Statement is: “We create a caring and safe learning community encouraging academic, social, and personal growth providing a foundation for college and career readiness.” The successful candidate in this position will be proactive in communicating with stakeholders, comfortable in a collaborative environment, and able to create learning opportunities for students that prepare them for career or post-secondary education.

Salary:  The salary range for this position is $87,767 – $114,516, based on applicable experience. Additional stipend is available for EdS or PhD. The District pays the full premium for medical, dental and vision benefits for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy. Benefit coverage for spouse and/or dependent children is available through monthly premium payroll deduction. You will participate in PERSI (Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho) with a required contribution rate of 7.16%.
