Award Nominations

ISBA has developed several awards and certificates in an effort to recognize board & community members who put forth extra time and effort to become leaders in our education system. Encouraging the continued education of both community and school board members, ISBA hopes to highlight the importance of leading by example as well as recognizing local commitment in Idaho communities.

  • Nomination Forms Must Be Received By October 1.

ISBA would like to recognize an amazing board chair who runs a well structured meeting. Keeping their board on task and complying with Idaho Open Meeting Laws, the board chair of the year is a great leader for their team.

Clerk of the Year Award

ISBA would like to recognize an amazing board clerk who goes above and beyond with his or her duties; someone who provides outstanding service, provides direction to the Board, and has provided contributions to the Board and District or Charter.

20 Years of Service Award

Part of growth and learning as a school board trustee is the knowledge acquired from those who have previously served. Each year ISBA recognizes those extraordinary individuals who have selflessly given 20 years or more to the students and education system of Idaho.
