Administrative Rules

Administrative Rules, more formally known as Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA) rules, are an important, but often overlooked piece of the advocacy process.  The State Department of Education (SDE)  and State Board of Education (SBOE) promulgate rules that must go before the Legislature for final approval.  Once a rule is approved, it has the force and effect of law.  We encourage you to check out the Administrative Bulletin the first Wednesday of each month to see new rules or proposed changes.
