When the Covid-19 pandemic began, LUV Systems focused its 30 years of environmental engineering experience to indoor air quality with a singular objective: to develop a proactive, safe, and permanent engineered solution for preventing respiratory cross-infections in indoor spaces. LUV Systems founders, including MIT, Caltech, and UT Austin engineers, created a comprehensive infectious dose model and innovative indoor air quality risk assessment approach to characterize how respiratory infections occur indoors. Based on the model, LUV Systems invented and patented the halō™, the optimal indoor air quality solution with controlled, directional airflow and UV-based disinfection for all known respiratory pathogens.  The halō™ brings surgical grade air quality with a low carbon footprint and at a low operating cost.
